Front radar
This system warns of a potential collision visually, acoustically and by gently applying the brakes. It automatically slows the car down in an emergency.
Ultrasound sensors
If the system detects an obstacle and evaluates it as a collision risk, the brakes are automatically activated and the vehicle is brought to a standstill. It works in conjunction with the front and rear parking sensors.
Ultrasound sensors
Park Assist 3.0 enables automated parallel parking, by reversing into a parking space or exiting from it.
Rear radars
Side Assist informs the driver of other road users approaching from behind. Two radars concealed under the rear bumper monitor the area behind the vehicle when it is in motion.
Rear radars
As drivers reverse out of spaces where the view is obstructed, this system provides them with alerts either visually or acoustically. If the driver does not react to the warning, the car automatically brakes.
Multifunction camera
Traffic Sign Recognition scans the space in front of the vehicle and compares the signs detected with the navigation system. This function works in conjunction with the Amundsen navigation system.
Rear-view camera
The rear-view camera is incorporated into the tailgate handle and monitors the area behind the car. It is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged, and the infotainment system screen displays the space behind the car with guide lines.
Front radar
In manual-transmission cars, Adaptive Cruise Control automatically maintains a safe distance from vehicles ahead at speeds above 30 km/h. For cars with automatic transmission, Adaptive Cruise Control includes Stop&Go, enabling the FABIA to follow the vehicle ahead in a traffic jam until it comes to a standstill.
Multifunction camera
This system detects not only white boundary lines on the road, but also other distinctive types of road boundaries. As a result, Lane Assist helps to keep the car in lane and provides steering assistance even when the road is not well marked.
