KODIAQ

The most powerful TDI in ŠKODA’s history

176-kW 2.0 biturbo diesel engine

>

The very high torque of 500 Nm is reached at engine speed of just 1,750 rpm, contributing to lower revs and fuel consumption.

>

A member of the EA288 diesel engine family known from other ŠKODA models.

Common-rail injection with piezo injectors provides an injection pressure of up to 2,500 bar, resulting in more efficient fuel combustion and lower consumption.

The two-stage turbocharging system, consisting of a high-pressure and a low-pressure turbocharger, enables turboboost levels of up to 3.8 bar and a quick response, even at low engine speeds.

To meet the latest Euro 6d-TEMP emissions standard, exhaust gas treatment involves an oxidation catalytic converter, diesel particulate filter and an SCR system.

Two balancing shafts are used to reduce vibration within the engine and therefore reduce noise in the interior.
